Testing in Australia
Most of the standardized exams required for entrance into U.S. institutions are available in Australia. Some of these exams are pencil and paper format, while others are given as computer-based exams. Exam formats often depend upon the location of the exam, ie Thomson Prometric computer testing centres are only located in Sydney and Melbourne. Registration methods for exams vary : online, postal, phone/fax, in person, etc. Visit exam websites and phone your local EducationUSA office for the latest information and dates on any of the exams below. Study guides for exams can be purchased at many EducationUSA offices. Contact your nearest office for a price list. Some EducationUSA offices in Australia proctor exams for distance learning students and can upon request proctor other U.S. exams if prior arrangements are made.
